After trailing 27-17 in the final quarter, the Lions staged a comeback by scoring 17 unanswered points, securing the victory.

Quarterback Jared Goff highlighted the confidence in Gibbs during the key play, mentioning Gibbs’ speed as “special.” Gibbs also revealed that his teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown motivated him to score. With Gibbs rushing for 219 yards, Goff took advantage of the play action, completing 13 passes and throwing two touchdowns. Goff finished with 279 passing yards, while St. Brown led with nine receptions and 149 yards. Goff emphasized the importance of the victory, highlighting the team’s ability to come back and achieve the triumph in overtime. The Lions won’t have much time to celebrate, as they will face the Green Bay Packers in the traditional Thanksgiving game on Thursday.
