Noah Fant Ready for Matchup Against the Lions
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant will be on the field this Sunday against the Detroit Lions, according to coach Zac Taylor announced to the media on Friday. Fant returns after missing a game due to concussion protocol.
Fant was evaluated for a head injury in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings. He was unable to return to the game and missed Monday’s loss against the Denver Broncos.
Despite having played only two full games this season, Fant ranks second on the team in total receptions, with 12, and has managed one of Cincinnati’s five receiving touchdowns.
Regarding other players, Bengals wide receiver Charlie Jones (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday’s game. In addition, rookie defensive end Shemar Stewart will miss his third straight game due to an ankle injury, according to Taylor.
