The prominent linebacker Anthony Barr has decided to retire from the NFL, marking the end of a career that saw him shine mainly with the Minnesota Vikings. The announcement was made through a social media post from his organization, Raise the Barr.
Barr, 33, played his last match in 2023. So far, he has not issued any further comments on his decision.
The Vikings selected Barr as the ninth overall pick in the 2014 draft. This selection marked the beginning of a new era for the team, following the hiring of Mike Zimmer as head coach, who was looking for a versatile player like Barr for his defensive scheme.Linebacker Anthony Barr, quien jugó por última vez en 2023, pasó nueve de sus 10 temporadas en la NFL con los Vikings.
