Serious Accusations Against Zion Williamson: Assault and Abuse Complaint
A woman has filed a lawsuit against Zion Williamson, a player for the New Orleans Pelicans, accusing him of rape and a pattern of abuse spanning several years. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, includes allegations of “sexual, physical, emotional, and financial abuse.” The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, alleges “a continuous pattern of abusive, controlling, and threatening behavior” during a relationship that began in Williamson’s freshman year at Duke and extended from 2018 to 2023.The 12-page civil complaint details that Williamson’s actions occurred in multiple states, including Louisiana and California.
A Pelicans spokesperson referred any comment to Williamson’s legal team, which was preparing a statement, according to a representative for the two-time All-Star.
