Masai Ujiri Leaves Raptors Presidency
Sources close to Alofoke Deportes confirm the departure of Masai Ujiri from his position as Vice President and President of the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors are expected to conduct a thorough search to find the next president of basketball operations.
This decision comes immediately after the conclusion of the NBA draft and just before the start of free agency on Monday.
Last season, the Raptors recorded a 30-52 record, missing the postseason for the third consecutive year.
Ujiri, who was in the last year of his contract, joined the Raptors as general manager in 2013, leading Toronto to the franchise’s only NBA title in 2019.
