MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Timberwolves held a moment of silence before Thursday night’s game in memory of Renee Good. Good, 37 years old, lost her life after an incident in which she was involved with an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer in Minneapolis. The event took place on Wednesday morning, triggering protests in the twin cities, amid an increase in ICE actions in the area.
Timberwolves coach Chris Finch expressed his condolences and thoughts to the affected families and loved ones, before his team faced the Cleveland Cavaliers.As we all know, our community has suffered another unspeakable tragedy.
