A pair of Adidas EQT Top 10 sneakers, autographed and worn by Kobe Bryant in his first game as a starter with the Los Angeles Lakers, reached the impressive figure of $240,000 at an SCP Auctions auction. This sale represents the second-highest sum ever paid for a pair of sneakers from the legendary player.

Sports Investors Authentication confirmed that the sneakers were used by Kobe Bryant on January 28, 1997, in what was Bryant’s first game as a starter in the NBA. Both shoes are signed and accompanied by authentication letters from PSA/DNA, a recognized entity in the authentication of sports items.

Before his debut as a starter with the Lakers, Bryant played in 34 games, averaging 6.4 points in 13 minutes per game.
