Luka Dončić Leads Slovenia to Victory at EuroBasket

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić once again proved his worth by scoring 42 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, leading Slovenia to a crucial victory over Italy with a score of 84-77 in the EuroBasket tournament. This triumph secures Slovenia a place in the quarterfinals, where they will face Germany, the current world champion. Slovenia’s dominance was evident from the start, with a 29-11 lead at the end of the first quarter. Dončić, in an impressive offensive display, had already reached 30 points by halftime, marking the fourth time in the tournament that he has surpassed this figure. Despite Italy’s effort, who attempted a comeback in the final quarter, getting within just one point of Slovenia, Dončić kept his cool and secured the victory with decisive free throws.
