Amazon reveals NBA Cup schedule: 17 games on Prime Video, with LeBron!

Amazon has revealed its broadcast schedule for the NBA Cup, with Prime Video broadcasting 17 games, including the final.

The league also announced the general schedule for the NBA Cup, with several matchups already assigned to television networks.

Prime Video will broadcast 10 games from the NBA Cup group stage and knockout rounds. Its “NBA on Prime Cup Nights” will feature five consecutive weeks of doubleheaders from the group stage starting October 31. That night, Boston will visit Philadelphia and Memphis will host the Los Angeles Lakers.

On November 7th, Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs will host the Houston Rockets and the new acquisition Kevin Durant. Afterwards, Steph Curry’s Golden State Warriors will visit Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets.

On November 14th, Miami visits New York and Golden State visits San Antonio. On November 21st, Cleveland will host Indiana and Denver will visit Houston. On November 28th, Milwaukee will travel to New York and the Lakers, with LeBron James and Luka Doncic, will host Dallas and the number 1 draft pick, Cooper Flagg.

The other 50 group stage games will be split between ESPN, NBC, and NBA League Pass.

There will be group stage games on November 25 on NBC, when Philadelphia hosts Orlando and the LA Clippers visit the Lakers.

ESPN will broadcast three group stage games on November 26. Detroit visits Boston, MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and defending champion Oklahoma City hosts Minnesota in a rematch of the Western Conference Finals, and Golden State hosts Houston.

Earlier this week, the opening night, Christmas, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day games were announced.

The full schedule, 80 of the 82 games for all teams, will be released on Thursday. The remaining two games for each team will be announced in December based on the teams’ performance in the NBA Cup.
