When asked which team she supported, Fabiola offered an answer that reflected her dual nationality and love for baseball:

“I’m rooting for both, the Dominican Republic is very difficult to beat, it’s very difficult for Venezuela to beat the Dominican Republic, it’s a country very well-known for baseball.”

FabiolaFabiola did not hesitate to express her affection for both nations, acknowledging the difficulty of the contest, but maintaining hope in Venezuela’s victory. Amidst the celebration and festive atmosphere of the Malecón, Fabiola highlighted the bonds of brotherhood between Dominicans and Venezuelans:

“Yes, they, the Dominicans, are like brothers, cousins, they are everything, but I wish them that even if one wins, be it the Dominican Republic or Venezuela, that they win and have a good time.”
