Dominicans Dominate MLB Network Ranking

The Dominican Republic solidifies its leadership position in Major League Baseball, placing 16 players among the top 100 at the moment, according to MLB Network’s latest ranking for the 2026 season. This ranking evaluates recent performance and player projections. A notable achievement is the presence of three Dominicans in the top 10:
  • José Ramírez, in fifth position.
  • Juan Soto, in sixth place.
  • Vladimir Guerrero Jr., in tenth place.
The Dominican representation is strengthened with the inclusion of new talents such as Geraldo Perdomo, Cristopher Sánchez, Jeremy Peña, Elly de la Cruz, Freddy Peralta and Framber Valdez. The ranking continues to be led by the Japanese Shohei Ohtani. Regarding the Latin American representation, Venezuela contributes seven players, Cuba three, Puerto Rico two, and Panama one.
