Eddie Rosario Strengthens Toros del Este for the Final Stage

Los Toros del Este are preparing for the crucial phase of the tournament, and they have announced a significant addition to their roster: Major League outfielder Eddie Rosario. This addition seeks to strengthen the offense and bring the player’s valuable experience in the pursuit of the championship.

He’s a high-level player with World Series experience who should make an impact for us at this stage of the championship, as he strengthens both the offense and the outfield.

Eddie Rosario, 34 years old, has an 11-season career in Major League Baseball, where he has played for the Minnesota Twins, Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Guardians, Washington Nationals, and Los Angeles Dodgers. His postseason experience is notable, highlighting his participation in the 2021 World Series. In that World Series, Rosario was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the National League Championship Series with the Braves. His best season in MLB was in 2019, hitting 32 home runs, driving in 109 runs, and batting .276 with Minnesota. Recently, Rosario participated in the Puerto Rico winter league with the Indios de Mayagüez, where he recorded a home run, nine doubles, and 11 RBIs in 38 games, demonstrating his good form. Rosario arrives to cover for Gilberto Celestino, who suffered an ankle injury and is in the recovery process. The new bullfighting reinforcement is expected to arrive in the country this Saturday, with the intention of joining the team and debuting during the weekend, when the Toros visit the Gigantes del Cibao at the Julián Javier Stadium.
