Tiger Woods Faces DUI Charges
The Martin County Prosecutor’s Office has filed formal charges against renowned golfer Tiger Woods. The charges are related to a traffic incident that occurred on March 27 in Jupiter, Florida, where Woods is suspected of driving under the influence of substances.
The legal process began in a Stuart court, where the charges were read in the athlete’s absence. According to police reports, Woods was arrested showing signs of physical deterioration, including excessive sweating and lethargy.
The authorities found Woods in possession of two hydrocodone pills, an opioid pain reliever. Although no alcohol was detected in his system through a breathalyzer test, the golfer refused to submit to a urine test, leading to the charge of driving under the influence.Next Steps in the Case
