This tournament will serve as an important preparation platform for the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games, Santo Domingo 2026, which will be held in Dominican territory. The boxers from Santiago, both men and women, arrive at the event in optimal conditions after their participation in the Precopa, where they demonstrated a high level of performance. Martínez and Pérez emphasized the experience of the assembly on the roof of Los Pepines, a familiar stage for this international event.
