San Francisco de Macorís, RD. – The Giants of San Francisco have kicked off their preparation for the upcoming season of the National Basketball League (LNB), which is scheduled to start on April 14. The initial practices were carried out at the Mario Ortega techado, with the active participation of players, the coaching staff, and the administrative staff of the franchise. This event marked the official start of the preseason for the San Francisco de Macorís team. The inaugural day featured welcome remarks from Junior Matrillé, who introduced Rafael Almánzar as the new general director of the team, along with the operations team led by manager Aneudy Rivera. In addition, the coaching staff headed by the experienced leader Víctor Peña was presented, who will be accompanied by José Santos Ceballos, Edgar Lugo and Danilo Jerez as assistants, forming the team that will guide the team in the next season.

CEO Rafael Almánzar expressed his satisfaction with the integration of the players from the first day of training, urging them to maintain commitment and dedication throughout the season.

For his part, the operations manager, Aneudy Rivera, expressed his gratitude to the players for their attendance and emphasized that the main objective of the organization is to work hard to achieve the championship.

On the first day of training, players Miguel Miranda, Franky Batista, Jeffrey Abreu, Raphy Delvi Polanco, Ramón Daniel Axel, Hanlet Ruiz and Johan Guzmán were present, along with the young francomacorisanos Claudy Ortega, Andriw Herrera, Luis Vásquez, Junior Muñoz, Dolfy Arias and Néstor Rodríguez, as well as Jeremy Díaz, a native of Cotuí.

The training sessions will continue this Wednesday at 10:00 in the morning at the same venue, as part of the team’s preparation process for the next season, in which the Giants will seek to form a competitive team from the start of the tournament.
