Puerto Plata revalidates title at INEFI’s 2025 National School March Festival

Santo Domingo, R.D. – The George Arzeno Brugal Educational Center, from Puerto Plata, was crowned champion of the 2025 National School March Festival Primary Level, representing Regional 11. The event took place this Friday at the Unión Panamericana High School, organized by the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI). The competition brought together 493 students from 17 school districts, who demonstrated discipline and coordination in this recreational modality. The educational center of Puerto Plata stood out for its firmness, security, and synchronization, obtaining the highest score. Second place went to the Pontezuela Abajo center, from Santiago (Regional 08), and third to the Ercilia Pepín School, from San Cristóbal (Regional 04).

Alberto Rodríguez Mella, executive director of INEFI, congratulated the winning centers and encouraged students to continue participating in this modality. He thanked President Luis Abinader for his support, highlighting the importance of these initiatives for students.
