PSG advances with authority in the French Cup

The Paris Saint-Germain, recent champion of the Intercontinental Cup, demonstrated its superiority and secured its place in the round of 32 of the Coupe de France. The Parisian team defeated Vendée Fontenay Foot 0-4, a team from the fifth division of French football.

The difference in level between both teams allowed coach Luis Enrique to make changes in the lineup and give opportunities to young talents. Among them, the debut of the Italian goalkeeper of Brazilian origin, Renato Marin, 19 years old, and the professional debut of the full-back David Boly, 16 years old, stood out.

Boly’s debut, unfortunately, was marred by an injury that forced him to leave the field at 29 minutes.

By that point, PSG was already dominating the match. Désiré Doué opened the scoring at 25 minutes thanks to an assist from Ousmane Dembélé. Dembélé later extended the lead by converting a penalty committed on Gonçalo Ramos.

In the second half, PSG maintained their offensive momentum. Ramos scored 0-3 in the 53rd minute, after receiving a cross from Senny Mayulu. Five minutes later, Ramos scored again, sealing the final 0-4.

With this victory, Paris Saint-Germain advances in the Coupe de France, heading towards their goal of conquering their third consecutive title in the competition.
