Kei Nishikori Announces Retirement from Professional Tennis
TOKYO – Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori has confirmed that he will end his professional career at the end of the current season. The news comes after several years complicated by injuries that have limited his participation in the circuit.
The former world number four announced his decision through an official statement, expressing his pride in his career. “I have given everything I had. I am happy with the path I have taken and will enjoy every match I have left,” Nishikori declared.
