Messi Reveals Unpublished Details of His Career

Inter Miami CF star Lionel Messi has shared surprising revelations about his football journey. In a recent interview, the Argentinian forward addressed several key aspects of his career, from his beginnings at FC Barcelona to winning the 2022 World Cup. During the conversation, Messi confessed that he received proposals to represent the Spanish national team during his formative years. This possibility, which could have materialized, did not prosper due to his firm desire to defend the colors of Argentina.

“At some point something came to me from Spain. I was already playing for Barcelona and they kind of hinted at it. It was normal at that time. I went to Barcelona very young, I did a large part of the youth system there and there was the possibility. It could have happened, but my desire was always Argentina,” Messi said.

“I regret many things. I tell my children. Having a good education, not having learned English as a child. I’ve had time to study it and I regret it very much. Sometimes you’re with personalities and not being able to hold a conversation makes you feel ignorant,” he commented.

The forward reviewed the conquest of the 2022 World Cup and pointed out that the group stage match against Mexico was one of the most decisive and suffered of the tournament.
