A multitude of fans gathered at Santo Domingo Park, located on the capital’s Malecon, to witness the exciting match between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic.

Despite the persistent rains that lashed the afternoon and part of the night, the passion for baseball drove fans to defy the weather conditions and join this sporting event that united followers from both countries.

From the early hours, Dominicans and Venezuelans gathered in the park, strategically located at the intersection of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln avenues. There, a special space was prepared for the public to enjoy the expected match.
