Fabiola, who arrived in the Dominican Republic from Venezuela when she was very young, at only six months old, shared her mixed feelings during the broadcast of the match between both nations. When asked which team she supported, Fabiola responded with surprising maturity:

“I’m rooting for both, Dominican Republic is very difficult to beat, Venezuela is very difficult to beat Dominican Republic, it’s a country very well-known for baseball.” Fabiola explained that, despite recognizing the strength of the Dominican Republic in baseball, she maintained hope for Venezuela’s victory, demonstrating her love for both nations. In the midst of the festive atmosphere, Fabiola highlighted the brotherhood between Dominicans and Venezuelans.

“Yes, Dominicans are like brothers, cousins, they are everything, but I wish them that even if one wins, be it the Dominican Republic or Venezuela, that they win and have a good time”.
