New York, United States – The New York Mets received positive news this Tuesday regarding the health of their star shortstop, Francisco Lindor. After surgery on his left hand, the stitches were removed, keeping him on track to be available on Opening Day. Lindor underwent surgery on February 11 to correct an overload reaction in the left hamate bone.

The player will be able to resume impact activities in approximately two to three days.

So far, Lindor has participated in defensive drills with his teammates, although without fielding due to the bandage on his hand. Despite this limitation, the torpedo boat has remained active in the spring camp. The organization estimated a six-week recovery period following the injury, which would put him back for Opening Day week. The Mets will start the season on March 26 against the Pittsburgh Pirates, so Lindor still has a chance to be in the lineup. In the last four seasons, Lindor has only missed 15 games, despite back, finger, foot, and elbow discomfort.
