LIDOM Defines Positions for the Round Robin 2025
The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) has concluded the first phase of the Round Robin corresponding to the year 2025, establishing the positions of the teams after the games of December 31st.
The Águilas Cibaeñas remain firm at the top of the table, demonstrating impeccable performance with a perfect 4-0 record and a .1000 percentage.
The Tigres del Licey are in second place, with a record of 3-1 and a percentage of .750, placing them only one game behind first place.
The Leones del Escogido are in third position, recording a 1-3 (.250) record. The Gigantes del Cibao, for their part, close the classification without victories, with a balance of 0-4.
The Round Robin will go into recess for the end-of-year festivities and will resume on January 2nd, at which time the teams will return to action in their quest to advance to the Final Series of the 2024-2025 championship.
Despite being in an initial stage, the upcoming matchups are anticipated to be crucial in defining the teams that will qualify, in a postseason that continues to generate great expectation among Dominican baseball fans.
