LeBron James Delays Lakers Debut Due to Injury

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James continues his recovery process due to a sciatic injury, which will prevent him from participating in the start of the NBA regular season.

James has been dealing with glute issues for several weeks. Despite his presence at the Lakers’ media day on September 29th, he is still not fit to compete, according to the franchise.

In the media day press conference, LeBron had set October 21, the date of the Lakers’ debut against the Golden State Warriors, as his possible return to the courts. However, his recovery has not concluded and it is expected that “King James”, 40 years old, will not play before the end of October or the beginning of November.

Recently, LeBron generated controversy by hinting at a major announcement about his future, which ultimately turned out to be an advertising campaign for an alcoholic beverage brand.

LeBron is preparing to play his 23rd season in the NBA, an unprecedented milestone in the history of the league.
