Resounding Success in the Start of the 2026 National Karting Championship
Santo Domingo – The Dominican Karting Club (CDCK) kicked off the 2026 national karting championship with a successful day on March 8th. The event, held at the United Petroleum Kartódromo, brought together a large number of drivers in all participating categories. The Dominican Federation of Automobilism (FDA) endorsed the event, marking the beginning of a calendar that will include six dates throughout the season, distributed across two different circuits.The championship will initially take place on the Grupo Alonso track, alternating with the renovated karting circuit of the Autódromo Internacional Las Américas. The latter represents a novelty for several drivers who are debuting in the discipline. The first date featured the participation of international pilots, who brought a high level of competitiveness.Great unity and enthusiasm have been demonstrated among the drivers to start the season. The attendance was massive and makes it clear that everyone is committed from the start.
