Upcoming challenges
The next challenge for the celestial team will be the 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup, a regional tournament that will bring together important Caribbean clubs and will begin in August.
Salcedo FC will compete in Group B alongside Cibao FC, Cavalier FC and Portmore United FC from Jamaica, and the champion of the Caribbean Shield.FIFA has intensified its support for Dominican football in recent years, especially with the development of the High Performance Center (CAR), whose partial inauguration took place last February through the FIFA Forward program.

The second stage of the installations will increase the total investment to about 10 million dollars and is expected to be completed in 2027.
The men’s and women’s national teams have used the CAR as part of their preparation for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, whose football competitions will take place between July 29 and August 8.
