Gigantes del Cibao and Águilas Cibaeñas face each other at Julián Javier
San Francisco de Macorís – Tonight, the Julián Javier stadium will be the stage for an exciting match between the Gigantes del Cibao and the Águilas Cibaeñas, in a new day of the Todos contra Todos of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).
This game represents the third matchup between both teams in this semifinal phase. The Águilas Cibaeñas have dominated the previous two games, both decided in extra innings, with scores of 10-6 and 8-7.
The game, which was initially scheduled for 5:00 PM, has been rescheduled for 7:00 PM. The modification is due to circumstances external to the teams; an incident near the Julián Javier stadium caused problems with the electricity poles, a situation that is being addressed.
Regarding the pitchers, the Gigantes del Cibao have designated right-hander Shane Greene as their starter. For their part, the Águilas Cibaeñas will have right-hander Osvaldo Bidó on the mound.
