Doglocy Classic 2025: Elite cycling in the Americas with $5,500 in prizes

Santo Domingo – Elite cycling returns to the scene this Corpus Christi Thursday with the second installment of the Doglocy Classic. The competition will take place at the Autódromo Internacional de Las Américas starting at 10:00 a.m. The event promises to be one of the most attractive in national competitive cycling, thanks to a cash prize pool of $5,500. The race, which will cover 120 kilometers (40 laps) on the motor racing circuit, will feature the participation of 184 cyclists over 19 years of age. Registration will be free for competitors. Both national and international teams will be present, including the outstanding presence of Team Medellín and its leader, the Colombian-Spanish Óscar Sevilla.

Awards Distribution

The cash prize will be distributed among the top five finishers:
  • 1st place: $2,500
  • 2nd place: $1,000
  • 3rd place: $500
  • 4th place: $300
  • 5th place: $200

This award represents a significant incentive for athletes and a demonstration of the commitment to the development of Dominican and regional cycling.

Access for the public will cost 300 pesos, offering a day of high competition and excitement on one of the most recognized tracks in the country. A large influx of cycling fans and followers is expected. The final list of participants will be published on June 15. In the previous edition, the winner was master mocano William Guzmán (Pegacol–V2C), and this year the competition promises to be even more intense.
