Teóscar Hernández Activated: Reinforcement for the Dodgers

Los Angeles, USA – The Los Angeles Dodgers announced this Monday the activation of right fielder Teoscar Hernández, after overcoming a left groin injury that kept him out of action since last May 4.

In a strategic move prior to the game against the Arizona D-backs at Dodger Stadium, outfielder James Outman was sent to the Triple-A Oklahoma City team.

Hernández, 32, suffered a first-degree strain during a game against the Marlins. In his recovery process, he participated in a game with the Class-A Rancho Cucamonga team on Saturday, where he went 1-0 with two walks, a strikeout, and a run scored.

Before the injury, the Dominican player showed an excellent offensive performance, with a .315 average, nine home runs, 34 RBIs, and an OPS of .933.

Hernandez has been a crucial element in the Dodgers’ offense since his arrival and was key in winning the 2024 World Series against the Yankees. In January of this year, he signed a three-season contract extension for 66 million dollars with the organization.

With his return, the Dodgers strengthen their attack for a crucial series in the fight for the divisional lead.
