Monte Plata – Deputy Jhon Contreras reaffirmed his dedication to promoting sports in the province, leading various activities this Saturday in different communities. His agenda began in the municipal district of Mama Tingó, where he delivered basketballs to young people from Hato Viejo. This action seeks to promote physical activity and support local talent.

Then, Contreras went to the main municipality of Monte Plata, participating in the opening of the XXI Superior Softball Tournament Monte Plata 2026. He had the honor of throwing the first ball and delivered sports equipment to the competing teams.
