Banreservas joins the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games

Santo Domingo – The Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana (Banreservas) has confirmed its official support for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026. This strategic alliance with the Organizing Committee of the sporting event, which will take place from July 24 to August 8, 2026, promises to be a significant boost for the development and international projection of the country. During the official presentation, Banreservas also presented its new institutional campaign. This campaign is inspired by the values of effort, courage, and overcoming that characterize both the Dominican people and their athletes.

This campaign reaffirms the patriotism and fighting spirit of all Dominicans. Our support for the Games is also a bet on the country’s image and the historical legacy represented by our athletes.

Leonardo Aguilera, executive president of Banreservas, emphasized that this initiative goes beyond an institutional positioning strategy. It reflects the bank’s commitment to sports, tourism, and the promotion of the Dominican Republic globally. Banreservas plans to develop various activities and activations in several provinces of the country, both before and during the Games. The objective is to bring the Olympic spirit closer to the population and encourage support for the national delegations. The assembly of the Games has been possible thanks to the support of President Luis Abinader, who has promoted the realization of this important multidisciplinary event. The Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, positively valued this alliance between the financial sector and the national sports movement, highlighting that this type of support is fundamental for the growth of Dominican sports. Banreservas’ new advertising campaign highlights the sacrifice and perseverance of Dominican athletes, using messages that celebrate national pride and the ability to overcome challenges. Some of the slogans used are “We are invincible for getting this far” and “This is how invincible we are at Banreservas”. Executives from Banreservas, sports leaders, athletes, media representatives, and special guests attended the launch event. The event was filled with elements representative of Dominican culture and identity.
