The Dominican delegation stood out in the 2025 Bolivarian Games, held in Lima, Peru, with a fruitful day that added gold, silver, and bronze medals in various disciplines. Athletics led the performance, followed by boxing and karate, who also contributed medals to the medal table. Athletics: Rosa Ramírez Two-time Champion and More
Athlete Rosa Angélica Ramírez was crowned two-time champion in shot put, revalidating her title with a mark of 17.44 meters. She surpassed the competitors from Chile and Venezuela, securing the gold for the Dominican Republic.The women’s 4×400 relay team won the silver medal with a time of 3:37.56, finishing behind Colombia, which set a new record in the games. The team was made up of Bianka Acosta Mercado, Milagros Durán García, Patricia Siné, and Estrella De Aza Henrry.
In the men’s 4×400 relay, the team made up of Christopher Melenciano Reyes, Lidio Andrés Feliz, Wilbert Encarnación Luis and Yeral Núñez, took the bronze with a time of 3:06.52. Cristian Rodríguez Mota added another bronze medal for the country in the 110-meter hurdles, with a time of 14.39 seconds.Other notable results in athletics:

Dominican boxing concluded its participation with two silver medals and two bronze medals, the latter won by Elen Roble (51 kg) and Johan Agüero (60 kg).Karate: Bronze for Larry Aracena
Larry Aracena won the bronze medal in kata, surpassing the Chilean Cristóbal Barra. Casanova Guerrero (Venezuela) won the gold, Alejandro Ramírez (Colombia) the silver, and Fernando Calderón (Guatemala) the other bronze. In the -60 kg kumite competition, Aldhair Zabala Ogando was eliminated after losing his three matches.Other Disciplines
