Ancelotti and Scolari: A Meeting of Legends in Teresópolis
Teresópolis, Brazil – The coach of the Brazilian national team, Carlo Ancelotti, and the 2002 world champion, Luiz Felipe Scolari, shared impressions during the second training session of the “Canarinha” in Teresópolis. The session was held with a view to Sunday’s friendly against Panama, where Neymar did not participate due to an injury.
Scolari, who led Brazil in the World Cup in Korea and Japan, was the special guest at the practice of the Brazilian team, concentrated in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro.The meeting between Ancelotti and Scolari, both renowned strategists, took place near the playing field. The Brazilian national team doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, reported that Neymar suffers a grade II muscle injury in his right calf, which will keep him off the field for two to three weeks.

The Brazilian star will miss the two preparatory friendlies for the United States, Mexico, and Canada World Cup against Panama and Egypt. In addition, he is doubtful for the debut in Group C against Morocco, on June 13, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
