The Leones del Escogido won the championship after defeating the Toros del Este 1-0 in the fifth game of the Final Series, winning the series 4-1 and obtaining their 18th crown, as well as their sixth back-to-back championship in the history of the franchise.Escobar, nicknamed the “Sabanero Mayor”, stood out as a key player throughout the final. His contributions in leadership, his experience, and his outstanding performances both offensively and defensively earned him recognition as the MVP of the series.
