Santo Domingo – Banco de Reservas (Banreservas) crowned the Leones del Escogido as the new champions of the Dominican Republic Autumn-Winter Baseball Tournament (LIDOM) 2025-2026, consolidating its support for the king of sports in the Dominican Republic. The trophy presentation, a symbol of triumph, was made by engineer Alieska Díaz, senior executive vice president of administration of Banreservas, representing Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, executive president of the institution. The event took place after the exciting series that pitted the Leones del Escogido against the Toros del Este. The championship, which culminated in a vibrant fifth game, kept Dominican baseball fans on the edge of their seats and put the finishing touch on a tournament dedicated to baseball legend Juan Marichal.
