Santo Domingo – The 2025 season of the Dominican Drift Series came to an end at the Autódromo Internacional Las Américas, where Rafael Adames, representing Team La Cangrena, secured his fourth national title in the PRO category. This triumph marks his second consecutive championship, solidifying him as the two-time champion of Dominican drift.
Although Franklin Castro won Round 3 of the National Drift Championship, followed by Rafael Adames and Omar Castellanos, the accumulation of points throughout the season awarded Adames the overall championship.
The final day brought together the main exponents of the PRO and INTER categories, providing a spectacle full of technique and adrenaline. In the INTER category, Juan José Jáquez stood out by winning Round 3, followed by Euris García and Akeem Abbot. Thanks to his consistent performance throughout the season, Jáquez was proclaimed 2025 national champion in this category.
The event, organized by the Dominican Drift Runners Club (CDCD) and endorsed by the Dominican Federation of Automobilism (FDA), demonstrated the continuous growth of this discipline in the country. The final date featured the participation of guest drivers from Brazil and Puerto Rico, raising the level of competition and strengthening the regional ties of Caribbean drift.
