UTESA speaks out following reports of incident involving a student
The Technological University of Santiago (UTESA) issued an official statement this Saturday to clarify its position regarding information circulating in the public opinion about a case involving one of its students. The institution has stated that it maintains constant monitoring of the situation, always prioritizing the well-being of its student community.
Clarification regarding the scene of the events
In the official document, university authorities were emphatic in pointing out that the reported events, which allegedly occurred on September 30th, did not take place within the campus facilities or in their surroundings. This clarification seeks to distance the institution from the circumstances in which the referred events took place.
Likewise, the university reported that, following the events, the affected student appeared at the campus, where she received the necessary accompaniment and support from the corresponding authorities, reaffirming the university’s commitment to the integrity of its students.
