Tragedy in Cabrera: Woman found dead and her minor daughter survives inside a sack

A heartbreaking event has shocked the community of Jobo Claro, in the municipality of Cabrera, María Trinidad Sánchez province, where authorities located the lifeless body of a Haitian woman, identified as Linda Sifue. In the same area, her minor daughter was found alive, having been abandoned inside a sack.

The minor, after being rescued in critical condition, was rushed to the Cabrera Municipal Hospital, the center where she is currently receiving the necessary medical care for her recovery.

Investigation details and main suspect

According to preliminary accounts provided by the victim’s relatives, the main suspect in this crime is a man who was in the area performing construction work on a swimming pool and who had allegedly traveled from Santo Domingo. The individual is already in police custody at the Nagua station for investigation purposes.

The relatives maintain that the aggressor took advantage of the moment when the victim’s husband went out at dawn to perform milking tasks to break into the home, perpetrate the murder, and subsequently abandon the minor at the place where she was found.
