The rector of the Instituto Tecnológico de las Américas (ITLA), engineer Jimmy Rosario Bernard, participated in an important meeting with alumni of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). This event, supported by the United States Department of State, was organized by the U.S. Embassy on Dominican soil with the goal of fostering strategic dialogue.
Ambassador Leah F. Campos’ residence served as the setting to bring together prominent figures from the academic, public, and private sectors. The central purpose of the day was to discuss advances in technology, innovation, and the future impact of the semiconductor industry in the region.
These spaces strengthen the relationship between both countries, our main trading partner, and allow us to identify new opportunities for cooperation to boost talent, research, and technological development in our country.
