Alias Sipi dies during DICRIM operation in Azua
In an operation carried out by agents of the Central Directorate of Investigation (DICRIM) of the National Police, Xavier Alejandro Castillo, popularly known as “Sipi,” was killed. The incident occurred this Thursday night in the municipal district of Proyecto 4, located in the province of Azua.
According to preliminary reports obtained at the scene, law enforcement located Castillo with the objective of proceeding with his arrest. During the police deployment, an armed confrontation occurred between the individual and the officers, an incident in which Castillo received fatal wounds.

Among the versions circulating, there was mention of an alleged involvement of “Sipi” in a plan to attack the integrity of communicator Rafael Beltré, known as “Hijito”. However, these accusations remain under investigation and have not been officially confirmed by the competent authorities.
