Meeting of Idols: Sergio Vargas and Manny Manuel celebrate the anniversary of “Aquí está el merengue”
Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo is preparing to host a high-level musical explosion next Saturday, October 31, 2026. In an evening titled Junte de Ídolos (Gathering of Idols), two of the most iconic figures of merengue, Sergio Vargas and Manny Manuel, will share the stage in a danceable concert that promises to make history.
The event, produced by Valenzuela Productions and led by Amable Valenzuela, has been organized to commemorate the eleventh anniversary of the popular radio show Aquí está el merengue. The appointment is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at the facilities of the establishment located in Blue Mall.
A repertoire full of hits
Attendees will be able to enjoy a journey through the musical trajectories of both artists, who have prepared a selection of their most iconic tracks. Sergio Vargas will arrive accompanied by his renowned orchestra, the Philharmonic of Villa Altagracia, to perform classics that have defined his career:
