The player expressed his relief at closing this chapter, highlighting that he always maintained confidence in the judicial system to clarify the facts.
Today, after a long time of silence and respecting a judicial process in which I always trusted, I can say that I have been acquitted. Justice has finally put things in their place and I receive this resolution with the satisfaction of being able to close a very important chapter for me.

A period of personal reflection
Asencio acknowledged that the last few months were extremely complicated due to media pressure and the information that circulated before there was a definitive verdict. Although he expressed that he understands journalistic work, he called for reflection on the human impact that news has on those involved and their families.
