Blow to micro-trafficking in La Vega: Police seize illicit substances in operation
Agents of the Regional Sub-directorate of Investigations of the National Police in La Vega carried out a successful preventive operation in the María Auxiliadora sector, achieving the seizure of a significant quantity of narcotic substances that were ready for distribution.
The intervention took place in an area identified as an alleged drug dealing point. Upon noticing the presence of the authorities, several individuals who were at the scene fled, abandoning a bag containing various illicit materials.
Seizure details
- 30 portions of a plant material, presumably marijuana.
- 68 portions of a white powder, with characteristics similar to cocaine.
- A Tanita brand digital scale, used for weighing the substances.
The seized evidence was placed in custody at the police station, while authorities keep investigations open to identify and capture those responsible for this illicit activity in the community.
The National Police reaffirms its commitment to citizen security and the frontal fight against micro-trafficking in the province of La Vega, intensifying intelligence and surveillance efforts in the most vulnerable sectors.
