Paraguay hands over luxury plane linked to banker Daniel Vorcaro to Brazil
In a high-level coordinated operation, Paraguay handed over to Brazilian authorities a Gulfstream G550 private jet, an aircraft valued at approximately 28 million dollars. The plane, which was located at the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Luque, is linked to the assets of Daniel Vorcaro, a Brazilian banker currently facing legal proceedings for alleged large-scale financial fraud.
The logistics of the transfer were made possible thanks to the strategic collaboration between the National Anti-Drug Secretariat (Senad) of Paraguay, the Paraguayan Air Force, and the Federal Police of Brazil. The aircraft, identified under the registration PR-PSE, is legally registered to Viking Participações Ltda., a firm associated with Vorcaro. Following its seizure, the plane was transferred to Brasilia, where it will remain under official custody to be integrated into the ongoing investigations.
Compliance Zero Operation Details
Daniel Vorcaro has been under arrest since March 2026, following a new order issued within the framework of the so-called Operation Compliance Zero. This case focuses on the operational irregularities of Banco Master, an entity that underwent an extrajudicial liquidation process after a series of serious financial inconsistencies were detected.
- Financial fraud: The falsification of documents and bank statements to artificially inflate the bank’s assets is being investigated.
- Related crimes: The investigations include charges of money laundering, corruption, and criminal organization.
- Additional illicit activities: The Brazilian justice system is also analyzing reports regarding illegal access to public systems and undue pressure against journalists and competitors.
All judicial measures determined within the scope of the investigation will be addressed with total transparency.
Defense of Daniel Vorcaro
The banker’s defense has maintained a stance of cooperation with the judicial system, denying the accusations presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. For their part, Brazilian authorities continue with the freezing and seizure of assets linked to the group, seeking to ensure that the assets are not transferred while the full scope of the criminal plot is clarified. The arrival of the Gulfstream G550 on Brazilian soil marks an important milestone in the preservation of the assets under investigation.
