Mow Flow: The new bet of urban merengue that is conquering the scene
From the Monseñor Nouel province, Bonao, emerges a figure who promises to revitalize the rhythm of the güira and the tambora with a modern vision. Moisés Plasencia Alejo, known in the music industry as Mow Flow, has decided to consolidate his career by betting on street merengue, a genre that seeks to take energy and freshness to new levels.
A path marked by perseverance
Mow Flow’s passion for music has deep roots. Since his adolescence, influenced by his family environment and his cousin, Darling Madé, he began to explore his artistic skills. His first steps led him to have close contact with the group Los Herederos, marking the beginning of a restlessness that would not stop over the years.
After emigrating to the United States, the artist did not set aside his training and technical curiosity. During his time abroad, he collaborated with prominent producers such as Renato Febles and SBK El Matón, laying the foundations for what would become his style. It was with the renowned producer Mafio, however, that he materialized his first professional-level work, taking a necessary leap in quality in his career.
Mow Flow has managed to combine his role as an entrepreneur with his true calling, proving that it is never too late to pursue musical dreams.
From construction to the stages
Despite having achieved success in the construction sector and as the owner of a transport company in New York, the call of music was stronger. This determination drove him to return to the Dominican Republic, convinced that his place is in the entertainment industry.
- Worked on musical proposals alongside El Padrino and El Lápiz Consciente under the Fatulos Music label.
- Collaborated with DJ Rikey, achieving an excellent reception from the public in their previous releases.
“Now It’s Chill”: The new sound of Mow Flow
Currently, the artist is promoting his latest single titled “Ahora Ta’ en Para”. This piece, written and arranged by him, encapsulates the essence of the urban merengue he has worked so hard to perfect. With this proposal, Mow Flow not only seeks to position his name on the radio and digital platforms, but also to contribute a distinctive style to the vibrant Dominican music scene.
