Las Galeras prepares for its first 3-kilometer race this Sunday

The community of Las Galeras, in the province of Samaná, is getting ready to celebrate its first 3-kilometer race this Sunday, September 27th. This sporting event has the main objective of promoting athletics and strengthening community integration through physical activity.

The starting point is scheduled for 6:30 in the morning. Runners will travel through various iconic spots in the area until they reach the final finish line, located at the picturesque Playa Grande. The day is designed to be an inclusive event, where children, youth, adults, and seniors can participate, regardless of their level of physical fitness.

An event for the whole family and season finale

This competition not only seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle, but also serves as a space for coexistence and camaraderie between local residents and visitors.
