Iran denies links to incident at British military base following arrests

The diplomatic mission warned that it will take appropriate legal action against those who spread false and harmful narratives. This stance comes following the arrest of five individuals, all British citizens aged between 23 and 25, who remain under police investigation for alleged crimes related to the Explosives Act and the planning of terrorist acts.

For her part, the national coordinator of the anti-terrorism unit, Vicki Evans, called for caution. Although the fact that the military base is used by U.S. forces has sparked theories about a possible geopolitical connection, Evans emphasized the importance of avoiding hasty conclusions while authorities carry out the corresponding investigations.
