IDOPPRIL expands its services with a new module in Las Terrenas
The Dominican Institute for the Prevention and Protection of Occupational Risks (IDOPPRIL) has taken a significant step in its decentralization strategy by inaugurating a new service module at the Lic. Pablo A. Paulino Municipal Hospital, located in Las Terrenas, Samaná province.
The main objective of this initiative is to bring Occupational Risk Insurance (SRL) closer to the workforce and the employer sector in the area, facilitating the management of procedures and providing specialized guidance on work-related accidents and occupational diseases without the need for long commutes.
A strategic breakthrough for workplace safety
Jhordanis Rodríguez, provincial director of IDOPPRIL in Samaná, emphasized that the opening of this office is a key advancement for the institution. Being located in one of the most dynamic tourist and commercial hubs in the province, the module will allow for more efficient and accessible service to the citizens operating in this development center.
The installation of this service point not only strengthens our institutional presence, but also eliminates geographical barriers for workers, allowing them to access their rights to protection and prevention in an agile and timely manner.
