Operation in the Colonial Zone: Authorities intervene in hotel for alleged sexual exploitation network
The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office against the Illicit Trafficking of Migrants and Human Trafficking carried out a raid operation this Friday at a two-story hotel establishment located on Emilio Prud’Homme Street, in the heart of the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. The intervention follows intelligence work after the detection of suspicious activities linked to the offering of sexual services.
Modus operandi on social media
According to preliminary investigations by Alofoke Deportes, the establishment used digital platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to promote sexual services. The offers were disseminated through profiles under the name “Juan Binbin,” which operated under the guise of a supposed law firm to avoid being detected.
The details revealed by the authorities indicate that the network promoted a group of 14 men, establishing base rates starting from 500 pesos and operating with uninterrupted availability 24 hours a day, throughout the entire week.
Digital platforms were used to disseminate photographs of semi-nude men and manage interactions with clients, including foreign citizens who coordinated their arrival in the country to access these services.

This raid is part of the decisive actions being carried out by the authorities to dismantle structures dedicated to sexual exploitation and human trafficking in the country. The main objective of the intervention is to determine the scale of the hotel’s operations and establish the corresponding criminal responsibilities for potential violations of the law.
