Grenade incident at Kabul school leaves several children injured
A tragedy shook the Shahrak-e Mahdia neighborhood, located in northwestern Kabul, this Monday following the detonation of a hand grenade inside an educational center. The event has caused great consternation in the local community and has mobilized the capital’s authorities.
Kabul provincial police spokesperson, Khalid Zadran, reported that the incident occurred around 5:00 PM local time. According to preliminary reports from security forces, the explosive device was thrown directly inside the school, causing injuries to several of the students present.
